BASORUN FAJIMI DESCENDANTS CHARITY PROGRAM

Basorun Fajimi house is a firm believer in charity programs that provide “economic empowerment”. These charity programs are aimed directly at raising people’s ability to earn income, livelihood and enhance their way of life in general. One of such charity programs is AWA Clothing Outlet, a store modelled after the types you have in western countries recycling gently used or new close out outfits and new African made attires, such as Ankara and Adire made by empowered youths.  Our outlets allow clients to take advantage of gently used clothing and accessories for a very minimal cost, these stores will focus on 35% imported, donated or procured clothes and accessories from USA and Europe, while 65% of the clothes and accessories to be offered at the stores will be locally made through the youths that were already empowered by Mogaji Alabi with training and individual sewing machines with artisan ability.

AWA Clothing Outlet is expected to grow and open several other locations that will help empower the youths from our compound and environs.
